About the event
We Start Gardens is hosting a private staff retreat or the Black Infant Health Staff the SoFA Pocket Park, a vibrant outdoor garden and community space in downtown San José. The retreat will feature custom iced-tea making, a collaborative gardening project, and fun prizes and giveaways — creating an opportunity for staff to relax, connect, and grow together through hands-on activities in a unique garden setting.
Derek Bryant, a trained master gardener, master composter and garden educator will lead you in hands-on demonstrations of common food and and herb gardening practices. We want to show you how easy and rewarding garden practice is and hope you are inspired to start your own.
Tickets are set your own price with a $20 minimum
