The UCCE has developed a tool to find your local community garden, school garden to take a tour, attend volunteer days or purchase food at farm stands. (Bay Area, CA)
MakeSoil is a non-profit global initiative to regenerate the Earth! Returning food scraps to the soil is one of the most important things we can do. Please find a soil site for your scraps. If there isn't one near you, create an account (it's free!) and we'll notify you when one is added. Or become a Soil Maker and create a soil site.
Urban agriculture includes small farms, community gardens, school gardens, church gardens and demonstration gardens in areas with a population with 50K residents or more. Use this map to find locations near you or all over the bay area. check their websites for open hours and their offerings.
