Black Family Day is the culminating event of African/African Ancestry Health and Heritage Month, which is a celebration of our heritage, health, and wellness. The event includes community engagement activities, a play area, vendors, and cultural performances.
The SoFA Pocket Park Garden will be open during the event! Come and get a garden tour, plant some seeds and learn how to grow some of your favorite foods. We will be selling medicinal and culinary herbs and herbal tea kits for those of you who want to try some home-healing practices
There will be a Seed Share and herbal tea tasting booth.
